Josh Truesdell and Kameron Arnold provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Cristo Rey. The second longest such play in Sacramento Metro this season, the connection resulted in 77 yards.
Foresthill extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Delta, 58-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Foresthill's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tommy Sawyer threw for 246 and six touchdowns and Matt O'Brien had 130 yards receiving. On the ground Sawyer chipped in 69 yards. Connor McCann helped Foresthill's passing attack out by catching four balls for 78 yards.
Woodland Christian's Truesdell and Arnold have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Truesdell has thrown for 1259 yards this season, while Arnold has 24 catches for 742 yards. Wes Archbold from Jim Herlehy's team leads the league in rushing with 747 yards.
A big matchup in Sacramento Metro this week will be when the Wildfires take on Cristo Rey. Foresthill is in first place, while Steven Macias' team is in fourth place.
The Wildfires took down the Saints 58-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sawyer in the win.
