There's no place like home for the Will Rogers College Ropers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Durant by a score of 61-53 on Saturday. For Will Rogers College, this counts as revenge for the 53-50 loss the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Will Rogers College's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dkarrion Titsworth led the charge by scoring 15 points along with three steals. Titsworth hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Branden Crosslen, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Will Rogers College's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Durant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Will Rogers College will take on the Buffaloes at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McAlester has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 4. As for Durant, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Dutch at 7:00 p.m. Holland Hall presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Lions in Oklahoma (the Dutch are ranked 17th, while the Lions are ranked 324th).
