Fredericktown entered their tilt with Doniphan on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Dons. With that win, the Black Cats brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Caleb Feltz and Blake Terry-Breakfield did most of the damage at the plate: Feltz scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1, while Terry-Breakfield scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Terry-Breakfield has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Ethan Marler was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Fredericktown now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Doniphan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
