It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the East Central Trojans had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Panthers 42-14 on the road. East Central's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
It was another big night for Josh Ringer, who rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Ringer is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Brotherton, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
When it comes to explaining why NorthWood lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nitro Tuggle. Despite the final result, he picked up 159 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
East Central's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for NorthWood, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.
East Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. NorthWood also has no future games currently scheduled.
