The Churchill County Greenwave's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of McClymonds.
When it comes to explaining why Churchill County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brady Alves. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Paul, who scored seven points.
Churchill County has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for McClymonds, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.
