The Quitman Bulldogs fell victim to the Salem Greyhounds''s stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 50-0 loss at the hands of the Greyhounds. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, Quitman couldn't push the score so high this time.
Elijah Romine went supernova for Salem, rushing for 183 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. Kaden Brink also helped out as he racked up 108 rushing yards.
Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Salem, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Quitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Salem also has no future games currently scheduled.
