Houghton won against West Iron County last Thursday with 80 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Houghton Gremlins breezed by the Gwinn Modeltowners to the tune of 80-50. The Gremlins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 25 points or more this season.

Houghton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.3 points. As for Gwinn, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-5.

When Houghton and Gwinn next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Houghton will try to stop Westwood's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Gwinn will take on Negaunee and their five-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
