Douglas County waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Canon City Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Douglas County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Douglas County now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Canon City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5.

Douglas County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fountain-Fort Carson on the 11th. As for Canon City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Sand Creek on the 11th.
