Owensboro scored the most points they've had all season to find success two weeks ago. They enjoyed a cozy 81-65 victory over Breckinridge County. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, even though Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter scored an imposing 68 points on Saturday, Evansville Bosse still came out on top. Evansville Bosse took their game against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter 81-68. The win was nothing new for Evansville Bosse as they're now sitting on three straight.
The victory got Owensboro back to even at 6-6. As for Evansville Bosse, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
Owensboro skirted past Evansville Bosse 94-92 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Owensboro since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
