The Cimarron Bluejays suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 65-27 defeat at the hands of Sunrise Christian Academy Silver. Cimarron was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-9.
Sunrise Christian Academy Silver can attribute much of their success to Jacob Silva, who scored 15 points. Iyzrel Graham was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Cimarron has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Sunrise Christian Academy Silver, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
Cimarron will be playing at home against Chase at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chase comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Sunrise Christian Academy Silver will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Central Plains at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. Central Plains is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
