The North College Hill Trojans were the 61-35 winner over the Shroder Paideia Academy Jaguars when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. North College Hill took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shroder Paideia Academy on Friday.
Despite the defeat, North College Hill saw an underclassman step up: Jeremiah Perry scored 8 points along with 21 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Mekelle Bass, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
North College Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Shroder Paideia Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North College Hill will take on Purcell Marian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shroder Paideia Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hughes at 7:30 p.m.
