West Caldwell and West Lincoln are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The West Caldwell Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the West Lincoln Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, West Caldwell came up short against Lincolnton and fell 50-43. West Caldwell has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though West Lincoln has not done well against Newton-Conover recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. West Lincoln came out on top against Newton-Conover by a score of 40-28. West Lincoln didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
West Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for West Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.
Things could have been worse for West Caldwell, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-41 loss to West Lincoln in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can West Caldwell avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
