Eden Ackley was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ackley was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
In other pitching news, Jackson Sydow tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
