Even though the Murphy Panthers scored an imposing 66 points on Tuesday, the Davidson Warriors still came out on top. Davidson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 68-66 victory over the Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Davidson also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryan Jackson, who scored 18 points along with six steals. Another player making a difference was Cordairus Dixon, who scored 18 points.
Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Murphy, their loss dropped their record down to 18-10.
Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Murphy also has no future games currently scheduled.
