After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Cross, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers 46-0. The Saints' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

The win got Nansemond-Suffolk Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Isle of Wight Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will head out to face off against Atlantic Shores Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Saints their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Isle of Wight Academy, they will be playing at home against Christchurch School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
