The Lodi Blue Devils put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 28-13 win over Xavier. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but Lodi was the (much) better team in the second half.
Despite the loss, Xavier still got an impressive performance from Reid Hietpas, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 110 yards and a touchdown.
Lodi's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Xavier, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
Lodi will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Baldwin-Woodville. Baldwin-Woodville will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. Xavier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
