The Oberlin The Phoenix will be playing in front of their home fans against the Central Christian Comets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oberlin is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Oberlin suffered a rough 63-38 loss at the hands of Columbia.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Carmello Williams, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Gus Green, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Central Christian lost to Open Door Christian on the road by a decisive 67-53 margin on Saturday. Central Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Oberlin bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Central Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
