This season hasn't been kind to the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They were beaten by Rome Free Academy 64-36 on Wednesday. Fayetteville-Manlius was down 47-23 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Rome Free Academy found their leader in underclassman Haylee Bostwick, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Cunningham, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Fayetteville-Manlius dropped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rome Free Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fayetteville-Manlius will take on Central Square at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rome Free Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Proctor at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
