The Louise Hornets will face off against the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
After dropping their season opener at home, Bloomington is headed out to face a Hornets team ready to give their home crowd a win. Louise had to suffer through a 33-6 loss at the hands of Flatonia. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats/Lady Cats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Bloomington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kennylee Flood out in front who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. Flood got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible61 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Gardner, who rushed for 101 yards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bloomington was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 403 total yards. That's the most total yards they've posted since back in August of 2023.
Louise beat Bloomington 27-18 in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Bloomington's Cebron Taylor, who picked up 126 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
