The John Marshall Justices will challenge the Henrico Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. John Marshall has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
John Marshall came up short against J.R. Tucker on Tuesday, falling 15-4. The Justices haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Oscar Carroll

| 04/07/26 @ Huguenot | 5 |
| 04/28/26 @ J.R. Tucker | 2 |
| 03/26/26 vs Armstrong | 2 |
| 04/08/26 vs Thomas Jefferson | 1 |
Oscar Carroll was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. John Marshall is 3-1 when Carroll posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Avevon Mcdonald, who earned one run and two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Henrico). Everything went their way against Huguenot on Monday as they made off with a 15-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Camden Nogueras made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Henrico got a massive performance out of Dylan Paolini Aguilera, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Chad Young was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Henrico always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
John Marshall now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Henrico, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. John Marshall has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .518. However, it's not like Henrico struggles in that department as they've averaged .474. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
John Marshall came out on top in a nail-biter against Henrico in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, sneaking past 9-7. Do the Justices have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
