After losing to Avon the last time they met, Gayville-Volin decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Gayville-Volin put a hurting on Avon to the tune of 56-6. 56 seems to be a good number for Gayville-Volin as the team scooped up a victory with the same point total in their previous game.
The win bumped Gayville-Volin's record up to 2-1. Avon are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Gayville-Volin take on Colome at 7:00 PM. As for Avon, they will face off against Centerville. Avon come in off of 4 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
