They took their game with ease, bagging a 61-20 victory over the Chamberlain Storm. The Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Leading Booker to victory were Yvette Brown and Jsiyah Taylor. Brown made all 7 shots she took to post 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals, while Taylor made all 7 shots she took racking up 15 points and three steals. Brown is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marayah Stuart, who posted ten points and six steals.
The win (which was Booker's ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points over those games. As for Chamberlain, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7.
Coming up, Booker will challenge DeSoto County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in DeSoto County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. Chamberlain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
