Lockport scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Orchard Park, 33-27. At the time, the Quakers were ranked 10th in the state, while the Lions were 75th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Orchard Park, who took down 10th ranked Orchard Park, 33-27.
Jamestown's dynamic duo of Jacob Sisson and Zach Panebianco proved tough for Kenmore West to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sisson threw for 509 yards and 6 touchdowns and Panebianco had 223 yards receiving. Stephen Carlson helped Jamestown's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 90 yards.
The Red Raiders' dynamic duo of Sisson and Panebianco proved to be unstoppable against the Blue Devils, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
He went 21-40 with 2 interceptions.
Panebianco was the best wideout in Section 6 AA this week as Jamestown topped Kenmore West.
Panebianco had a great week catching the football as Tom Langworthy's team topped the Blue Devils.
Mitch Fuller was the best running back in the league this week. In 8 carries, he ran for 86 yards as Lancaster topped Kenmore West. Matt Szymanski also contributed to the rushing game with 71 yards on the ground.
Sisson put up the best numbers through the air as Jamestown bested the Blue Devils.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Lockport takes on Frontier. At the moment, the Lions are in first, while the Falcons are in fourth.
Sisson and Brian Park provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Kenmore West. The connection went for 95 yards, the longest such play in Section 6 AA this season.
