The Sutherland Sailors are staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Stapleton Broncos. These two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
Sutherland escaped with a win against Kimball by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42. The top scorers for the Sailors were senior Tayton Schuster (16 points) and senior Jade Paxton (14 points).
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the matchup between Stapleton and Arthur County two weeks ago was still a pretty decisive one as Stapleton wrapped it up with a 64-53 win at home.
Sutherland simply couldn't be stopped when the two teams previously met in January of last year, as they easily beat Stapleton on the road 54-19. Will Sutherland repeat their success, or does Stapleton have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
