Flanagan/Woodland's game  last Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy  57-39 win over the Ridgeview Mustangs. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Flanagan/Woodland got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Aubry Edens out in front who  almost  dropped  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds. That's the most  points  Edens has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ella Derossett, who  went 9 of 20  en route to 23 points and five  boards.
 Flanagan/Woodland  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive boards in six consecutive  games.
Flanagan/Woodland's  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-11. As for Ridgeview, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost 13 of their last 14 matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record  this season.
 Flanagan/Woodland has  already played their next  contest (against Fieldcrest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ridgeview will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 6:00  p.m.  on January 27th.
