Providence Grove's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but ASIA STEVERSON led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. BROOKE INGRAM was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
Asheboro's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Providence Grove, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
