Owen was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Thomas Jefferson apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Thomas Jefferson found their leader in underclassman Samara Jones, who scored 20 points along with 3 steals. Brooklyn Twitty was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 7 rebounds.
Owen's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Thomas Jefferson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Owen will be playing at home against R-S Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Thomas Jefferson is on the road again on Friday and play against Enka at 4:30 p.m. on December 1st.
