Breanna Breener tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Nevaeh Arnold relieved her and did a solid job, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched.

Alexa Torres made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Jeneice Wright was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Key West's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Academy for Innovative Education, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
