The Kellogg Wildcats waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took down Priest River 48-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kellogg also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
Macy Jerome was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Dani Schillereff was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Kellogg has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Priest River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
Kellogg and Grangeville will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Averaging 63.68 points so far this season, Grangeville's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Kellogg better be ready for a challenge. Priest River's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kellogg at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Kellogg is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season.
