Football Recap: Riverside Academy Has No Trouble Against Prairieville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside Academy). They strolled past the Prairieville Hurricanes with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 40-23. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Riverside Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points over those games. As for Prairieville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside Academy will square off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prairieville, they will venture away from home to take on Dutchtown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes will need to watch out since the Griffins have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
