Byron Nelson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kennedy Moss, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds, and Belle Ratliff who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Moss is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinsey Morris, who scored ten points.
Byron Nelson has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 19 of their last 21 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-26 record this season. As for Southlake Carroll, their victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-5.
Byron Nelson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southlake Carroll, they will head out on the road to square off against Fossil Ridge at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Southlake Carroll knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Fossil Ridge likes a good challenge.
