The Western Plains Bobcats gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 47-15 victory over Chase.
Western Plains' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Chase, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Western Plains will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pawnee Heights on December 12th. As for Chase, they will be playing at home against Cunningham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cunningham focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
