Even if North Edgecombe couldn't beat the Panthers on Saturday, underclassman Diamond Wilson still had a big game. Wilson was dialed in and scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. She played a big game the last time she faced Washington County, so the team probably should've seen her coming.
Wilson and North Edgecombe will head out on the road to challenge the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will pit Wilson up against Southeast Halifax's star point guard Janiyla Pierce. Will Wilson turn in another gem to overcome North Edgecombe? We'll have our answer very soon.
