Kaitlyn Mamay made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Lake Oconee Academy got a big performance out of Addison Kelley, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Lola Slaughter, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
