With a playoff game on the line, the Shiloh Christian Saints rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 49-41 victory over the Zebras. The victory was nothing new for Shiloh Christian as they're now sitting on five straight.
Bo Williams had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 269 yards and five touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Creighton, who rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown.
Despite the defeat, Pine Bluff had strong showings from Landon Holcomb, who threw for 414 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes, and Courtney Crutchfield, who picked up 220 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Crutchfield's longest reception was for an incredible 76 yards. Kendall Burton was another key contributor, picking up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The last time Shiloh Christian lost on the road was back back in October. Having now won three straight away games, they've pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.3 points per game. As for Pine Bluff, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
Shiloh Christian will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Parkview at 6:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Parkview is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Pine Bluff does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
