It was a good run, but the Kokomo Wildkats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 41-32 to Tippecanoe Valley.
Kokomo's loss came despite strong showings from Aijia Elliott and Regan McClain. Elliott dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds, while McClain scored six points along with five rebounds.
Kokomo's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kokomo will take on Muncie Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Muncie Central has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they will be playing at home against Wawasee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Wawasee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven last Tuesday.
