The AIMS College Prep Golden Eagles stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on Life Academy with a sharp 76-50 win. The win was just what AIMS College Prep needed coming off of a 68-43 loss in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead AIMS College Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Ketema, who scored 19 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ketema has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nahom Solomon, who scored eight points along with 11 assists and five steals.
AIMS College Prep's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35.62 points. As for Life Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. AIMS College Prep will take on Coliseum College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Life Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Leadership Public Schools Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
