The Ramona Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Torrance Tartars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Ramona sitting on four straight victories and Torrance on six.
Ramona extended their postseason success on Friday against Poly. Everything went their way against the Bears as they made off with a 38-17 win. Ramona might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Ramona's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jeremiah Acosta, who threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Meanwhile, Torrance has more to be thankful for after their contest against West Covina on Saturday. Torrance enjoyed a cozy 23-7 victory over West Covina.
Ramona has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Torrance, the last time they lost on the road was back back in September. Having now won four straight away matchups, they've pushed their record up to 10-4.
