Meanwhile, Ansonia might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Seymour an easy 75-50 victory. Ansonia has struggled against Seymour recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ansonia, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Holy Cross against Ansonia in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 87-53 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Holy Cross since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
