Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wethersfield). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-59 win over the DePue Little Giants on Wednesday. The Flying Geese haven't had any issues with the Little Giants recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win got Wethersfield back to even at 3-3. As for DePue, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Wethersfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Morrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DePue, they will venture away from home to take on Illinois Math & Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Little Giants will be up against the Titans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
