Naselle proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Willapa Valley Vikings 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Comets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Naselle's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Willapa Valley, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Naselle is set to square off against their familiar foe Mary M. Knight at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Willapa Valley will face off against rival Taholah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
