At the plate, Juliana Percival and Sophia Cromer did most of the damage at the plate: Percival went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Cromer went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave Percival a new career-high. Natalyn Emel also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Looking ahead, MMI Preparatory School is taking a road trip to challenge Hanover Area at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, they will take on Wyoming Area at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
