Washington Union won the last time they faced Avenal and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Buccaneers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

While Washington Union might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Avenal scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4-1. As for Avenal, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington Union will head out to challenge Fowler at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Avenal, they will challenge Frazier Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
