HOYLE has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. HOYLE was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  MADELINE MOEHL was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  stolen base.  MARIN LAFRANCE was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Nelson can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Parkrose  a   28-0 shutout. Give Nelson's pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
 Lakeridge pushed their record up to 6-2 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.8 runs per game. As for Nelson, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
 Everything went Lakeridge's way against Nelson in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 as Lakeridge made off with  a  14-4 win. Will Lakeridge repeat their success,  or does  Nelson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
