The Warren Bears had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They really took it to Dominguez for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-6 win at home. The result was nothing new for Warren, who have now won four matchups by 34 points or more so far this season.
One reason for the win was Warren's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was JT Houston and his two sacks.
Warren's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Dominguez, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Warren will challenge Tustin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tustin is on a four-game streak of home wins, Warren a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Dominguez will take on Kaiser at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Kaiser is ranked 323rd, while Dominguez is ranked 317th).
