Meanwhile, Woburn Memorial were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 16-21 to Burlington. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Woburn Memorial.
Belmont's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Woburn Memorial's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Belmont's success rolls on or if Woburn Memorial are able to steal their positive momentum.
