The Legacy Charter Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Forest Lake Academy 74-35 on the road. That 39 points margin sets a new team best for Legacy Charter this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Richmond, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Khori Polarchy, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Forest Lake Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Evan Goris and Jordan Hodge. Goris scored 12 points, while Hodge scored seven points. Kymali Whyte was another key contributor, scoring four points.
The win got Legacy Charter back to even at 7-7. As for Forest Lake Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Charter will take on Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Forest Lake Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Circle Christian at 7:00 p.m. Circle Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59.8 points per game.
