Panguitch has gone 9-1 against Escalante recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will take on the Moquis at 9:00 a.m. Panguitch is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
While Panguitch's win against Parowan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats skirted past the Rams 3-2.
Panguitch wouldn't go down easily and took Parowan into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 24-26, 17-25, 15-10.

Panguitch relied on the efforts of Brooklyn Harland, who had 35 digs and three aces, and Lainee Sawyer, who had 19 digs. That's the most digs Harland has posted since back in August.
They weren't the only good servers: Panguitch was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Escalante rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Panthers 3-0.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Escalante was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15, 25-14.
Escalante's victory bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Panguitch, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.
Panguitch took their victory against Escalante when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
