Desert dropped their record down to 12-7 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the California City Ravens, falling 17-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Scorpions were not able to get on the board.

As for California City, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Considering they have won 11 games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For California City's part, Abbie Hogan was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Natasha Aguirre, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Coming up, Desert will face off against Kern Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Scorpions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncs have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season. As for California City, they will square off against Frazier Mountain at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Ravens are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
