Genoa Area entered their tilt with Otsego on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Otsego Knights 59-29. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Knights are ranked 580th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Genoa Area's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Otsego, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
